Books app page turning bug

In the Books app under iOS and iPadOS 17.01 and 17.02 the page turning animations no longer work. Neither Curl nor Slide.
Also the setting "Both Margins Advance" doesn't work either. The only way to get to the next page (or the previous page) is to scroll up or down. This happens on my iPad mini 5 and iPhone 12 mini. I have filled a bug report. What I want to know is if anyone else has the same problem.

I haven’t noticed that one but I’ve noticed it’s not saving the page I’m currently on. It will skip back to the last place I was whether 10 pages or 100. It’s not everytime but I’m tired of losing my place! So just in case you don’t bookmark be aware.
