I've got the files from the audiobook cd downloaded in to the itunes file.

I've done the control click / get info thing to make them "audiobooks" but they are still in the music category.

I now have them in itunes under music "genere" audiobook

I can listen to them, but I want to have them in the right area.

Please, for the love of Charles Darwin. Can someone tell me how to move the files from music to books?

Does this make since?

Files from itunes music tab to the itunes book, audiobook tab.

Thank you for your help

If I understand correctly you have changed the 'genre' to audiobooks under the info tab.

Go to Options and select Mediakind - Audiobook.

I had the same problem and it worked o.k for me.

If you have an ipod you could try Audiobook Binder, this puts the files into the correct format and places them in the Book library in itunes.

It's free and it works and is available on the app store or from the above link.
