Just wondering whether anyone else is having syncing problems between Mac and IOS?
I have a problem syncing books; I have added audiobook to Mac and it does not sync with iPhone or iPad. I tried the other way around - added to iPad - same issue.

Does anyone know a fix for this?

haven't seen any issues yet. just a bit excited that you can sync books now!!!

Update: just tried on three devices. everything synced between the three.

Books do sync with no problems, but I can't get audiobooks to sync. The work around is to connect iPhone to Mac and sync audiobooks via the Finder. I would to do the same with the iPad.

Same issue here. My (non-iTunes store) audiobooks are in my iCloud Drive. After importing them to the desktop version of Apple Books (v3.2, Big Sur 11.4, Mac Mini M1), they do not show up in the iOS versions of Books on iPhone 7 and iPad Mini 3.

Now if we sync them through the finder, I'm just wondering if the results are the same. Are the audiobooks then synced up to all three devices (highlighting, bookmarks, resume where left off)?

Also, for anyone curious, you can modify and save the audiobook metadata with a app store program called Metadatics.

Edit: So, this is not a viable solution since going through the finder puts the audiobooks directly on the iPhone and uses up available space. I haven't found any solutions elsewhere online.
