I always went running with Apple earbuds (that come with the phones) and that worked pretty well except for the cord-getting-wrapped-around-my-arm sometimes and ripping out the things from my ears. So finally this year i got some inexpensive (on purpose) bluetooth Anker earbud Curve to wear while running. I wear them with just the right ear in and with left clipped to my shirt. For safety and stuff.
Anyway, my dumb question: why with THESE (unlike the apple corded earbuds) do I hear each of my footfalls like a BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM? I think it's because these literally plug up my ear canal to the point it's like being underwater but... Is that normal? Do most folks who wear in-ear thing end up fully plugging their ear canal and running sounds like a series of booms? are there two classes of in-ear headphones - ones that "jam up" the canal and ones that don't? I guess maybe i could get used to the booming sound of running, but... wow. Am i supposed to switch to smaller rubber bits that came with these?
