Hi I am just wanting to know if there is any way to boost the signal on the itouch.

I am having intermitant cut offs from network where it will see my network one minute and next minute it wont.

I have one wireless router and a pc that has a usb wiresless adapter that it uses to contect to the net and various other wireless kits like phones etc.

System is downstairs and I am trying to use it upstairs.

thanks in advance for any advice.

Yeah I have this problem as well while using it upstairs while the router is downstairs. There is no way to boost the Touch's receiving power.

You can't boost the Touch receiving power, but you can boost the router's transmitting power. Some routers accept external antenna's, which can boost your range.

thanks for the replies, ah well I just thought I would see it has been driving me crazy lol.

Cheers everyone.

You could also try a "repeater" to extend the range of your network. However, this cuts your speed about in half, since everything has to be transmitted twice: once to the repeater, and a 2nd time to the touch...
