I've got a Macbook 6,1 that's currently running Sierra with Boot Camp version 6.1. I would like to install Windows 7 via Boot Camp.

When I try to do that, however, the Boot Camp Assistant keep telling me that my disc is a Windows 10 disc and to insert a Windows 7 disc instead because 10 isn't supported.

It's definitely a Windows 7 disc. I've used it before to install a virtual machine and, you know, generally Microsoft do label their install discs correctly :p
I even tried a different one AND burned a new Windows 7 image - with the same result every time.

Any ideas why it would recognize the disc as Windows 10 instead of 7?
