Hey all,
I have a few questions:
Recently, I got VMWare Fusion for the Mac. I used it a while with my Boot Camp partition with success. Then, however, I followed some bizarre guide on the internet for renaming my Boot Camp partition from within OS X. I tried this and it didn't work, but I found that it also voided my VMWare from working! VMWare, in the VM selection window, shows the following:
Boot Camp partition on /dev/disk0
Boot Camp partition on /dev/disk2
However, after running "mount" in Terminal, this is the line that references the Windows volume:
/dev/disk0s3 on /Volumes/Untitled (ntfs, local, read-only, noowners)
It seems like the VMWare just doesn't like the Boot Camp partition. However, I figure that if I can just change the fstab or mount point for the disk to be /dev/disk0 or /dev/disk2, I should be in the clear. No other disks are using those mountpoints.
Furthermore, I was wondering if Mac can do any sort of Matrixed sound through optical? ie mix the two front channels into center?
Anyways, thanks in advance for the help!
