Boot Camp Assistant Launch issue

Got a 2012 Macbook Pro and to install Windows 7 had to use rEFIt. I didnt like rEFIt and uninstalled it - as much I could, however, boot camp assistant now just bounces but then automatically closes....

Sorry that's all I can really say to describe my current predicament. Any advice?
