So I am trying to install windows xp, the boot camp assistant gets to the last screen and when I hit Install after a few moments spits out a message saying it cannot detect the disc.
I tried reloading the disc, rebooting the computer still no luck.
The cd loads just fine if I hold Options while restarting I can boot the WinXP disc, but only problem at this point I still don't have that partition I need to load XP onto..
Also if I do this, my total HD currently is 250gb with OSX Lion installed, if I dedicate 30gb towards the windows partition will it wipe out everything I have or just shrink the mac osx one?
Can someone help?
