Anyone experienced this ?

i'm on mc816.

previosly i've had another trouble with WIN7 installation on bootcamp...
Well, i've waited some time in case it will gone.

Now i have this issue. After mac reboots to start win7 installation, screen goes black. And that is it.
Since i cannot see anything i cannot start installation...

I've tried to search for a working solution, but no success so far. Any ideas how can i fix this ?

I want to install GTA 4 :)

Thanks!

Try using the HDMI instead of Displayport for the monitor. If its not an option, disconnect the monitor until after rebooting is finished and the installer has loaded, then reconnect.

I had the same problem with a 2011 mini. Solved it by disconnected all USB and FW external drives and the black screen problem disappeared.

Disconnected external USB drive plus USB connection of DELL Monitor and installation started ! :)

Yes, I had this problem during installation. Instead of the install starting I would get a blank screen. Disconnecting all the FW and USB drives, apart the USB stick where I was installing windows from did the trick.

Nothing I've seen in the forums worked for me. We had laid out 50 Mac mini in a student lab and would get the black screen when booting windows 7. It turned out to be the monitors. We were unable to locate a driver that worked, so scrounged up newer from around campus. No problems since.
