So I was trying to install Windows XP and used the Boot Camp application to set a 20GB partition then proceeded through the setup. When I got to the blue screen that asks which partition to install to/format, I only see a 131045 MB partition as the only choice...
Not knowing what to do, I exited the installer (I didn't choose it at all) and when I turned on the computer, it fails to find OSX and boots into Windows where the screen just turns black and an underscore blinks.
I brought the MBP into the Apple store and a Genius told me my data is gone, so he erased the HD and reinstalled OSX. When I returned home, I tried again, and the SAME EXACT thing happened, so I just erased the HD and reinstalled OSX again.
My question is how do I get the install to recognize the partitions, instead of only having 1 that I don't even know where the file size came from? Could it have to do with the install CD at all? I am attempting to install Windows XP Professional.
