I was wondering if someone has this file laying around? It for the Core Duo MacBooks. I would download from Apple directly, but they removed the file from their website, Boot Camp Assistant can't download them because they are unavailable, and AppleCare is saying they won't help since the machine is 5 years out of warranty.

I'm not sure what version of Boot Camp drivers it needs, but the version on Apple's site, 4.1.4033, won't work as it requires a 64 bit (C2D) processor, where as this MacBook is a 32 bit (CD).

Thank you so much!

The Mid-2006 MacBook only supports Windows XP 32-Bit and Vista 32-Bit via Boot Camp. Unfortunately Apple does not provide driver downloads for this model (restore DVD's only) and distribution is a violation of Apple's End User License Agreement so I am sure they will not be distributed here.

The drivers you need are on the OS X Snow Leopard DVD. For some unknown reason, Apple never made these publicly available on their website. If you have a Snow Leopard disc, just put it in your computer when you're running Windows and you'll see the driver installer. You then run Apple Software Update to get the latest version of Boot Camp 3.

Six years later this post just saved my butt as I was installing Win7 on a macbook 1,1 and was about to pull my hair out.

Thank you, chrfr!
