So I installed Vista and then popped in the OS X Disc 1 to install the drivers, like I did with Win XP before. All I get on screen is the window where I get to choose whether to install OS X on my MBAir or install disc sharing....no drivers.

Do i need a specific version of Vista to be able to install boot camp drivers ? SP1 or SP2 maybe ?

I remember I had the same issue with Win XP SP3, which seemed weird since it's supposed to be even more complete then the previous version, right ?

Anyway.....

Any practical advices ? Anyone ?!?

Details. Which Mac, which OS X install CD (version & year) and which Vista?

You should be able to install BootCamp.msi directly, but without the details we can't really help.
