Is it possible and legal to use Boot Camp drivers on a PC? I have a Mac Pro and OS X 10.8, and I was thinking about installing the HFS drivers and drivers for the Apple aluminum keyboard on a Windows 7 PC I just assembled.

Is that better than using Macdrive or similar?

There are somewhere instructions to extract drivers from bootcamp and using them on a PC. If I remember correctly it was mainly for the Apple keyboard and the Apple trackpad. Don't know if it is legal or not.

Any progress or instructions on this front? I had to rebuild a PC due to component failure, and I can't manage to get the drivers to install on the new system. It's especially vexing because I use the same terminal to KVM between a Mac and a generic Wintel workstation, and settled on the Mac layout. Last time around hotkeys worked, now their failure is distressing.
