So, a friend of mine installed the university's licensed bootcamp install, which installs from a server and runs as a separate mac applicatoin.

The problem is, thanks to our IT deparment's incompetence, this pre-made windows image has an incompatible install of the boot camp services for this model of mac.

What's the problem?

I'm unable to uninstall the boot camp services in control panel I get a fatal Error.

I'm unable to use the change and repair options for the same reason. I'm also unable to install the latest version of the bootcamp drivers for this mac (downloaded directly from the boot camp utility under Mac OS 10.8) because it gives me a fatal error as I try to do this.

Finally, since this was installed from a disk image on the university's servers, I don't have a windows 7 disk to do a clean install with. :(

So... overall this is a mess.

Is there any way to remove Boot Camp Services from windows manually?

Please help :p
