Boot Camp & Firewire 800

Hi all

I did a Boot Camp install, using Windows XP Pro. Everything is working just fine so far, but XP won't recognize my external hard drive when I connect it via firewire 800. Is this a known Boot Camp issue that I missed? USB works just fine so far, but not the Firewire 800 LaCie drive I have.

FYI - I am on a MBP, 2.33Ghz, 2GB RAM.

Google turned up nothing. Have you tried to manually install the hardware via Control Panel? That would be my only suggestion; unless, LaCie requires their own drivers to be installed first...

Hmm, it didn't in OS X and didn't on my PC either. Though come to think of it, I use the USB connection on my PC.

This may or may not help you out, but my bootcamp partition only recognized one external HD at a time. Do you have more than one plugged in?
