i was doing a 100 gb partition for Vista
and i had a little error coming up saying i need to restart
my computer was frozen so i had no choice

butt now that im back in os x it says i have 16 gb free instead of the 117.5 gb i had free before the partition process and there is no trace of the dissappeared space

no other drive to represent the space

when i restarted it said OS X quit unexpectedly lol and i looked at my used disk space and its 132gb of 160 instead of something around 40gb
:S
any ideas?!

Startup from your Mac OS X install disk and run disk utility, then repair your disk, that should re-establish your free block count.

thanks

i did that and it said i invalid volume free block count
so its just fixing at as we speak :p
