MBP 2011
OS X 10.7.5
OCZ Agility 3 SSD
Optibay with secondary HDD
I am trying to install Win7 via Boot Camp on my secondary HDD, as my SSD is reserved for OS X system files. I created a bootable flash drive via the Win7 utility and attempted to use BC to partition the secondary disk and install Win7. This resulted in a reboot, the apple logo, a sporadically flashing no entry symbol, and the occasional missing folder icon. I figured this was something to do with the flash drive being created on a Windows machine, so I jumped over to my Mac.
I edited the /Applications/Utilities/Boot Camp Assistant.app/Contents/Info.plst to enable USB booting for BC, created the bootable drive, and installed. After the format and reboot, the same thing happens.
So, I then attempted it a few more times, one of which I took out the SSD and only left the HDD and flash drive connected. No luck. "No bootable devices".
Any ideas? What am I doing wrong?
