Boot Camp not recognized by other OS?

Hi guys, I loaded Win10 on my 2016 mbp with Boot Camp, and both partitions work fine, the problem is that I need to do the ⌘R shortcut when booting up to tell it which partition to load into, cannot use the black diamond in Windows or tell the Mac to load into Windows. Has anyone run into any similar issues? Just seems very strange. Annoying to have to do this every time.
