Boot camp not working on 5.6 leopard

Hi I just got xp today and was shocked to find that the boot camp assistant did not work at all compared to what it could do back when it was on 5.5. I can't even start partitioning my hard drive because the program keeps on telling me to upgrade my system software which does not make any sense as I am the highest you can go with leopard. Please tell me a way to get past this.

Try VMWare Fusion or Parallels.

Do you happen to use tech tool pro? This happened to me when I had an
edrive partition. Bootcamp installer didn't like it. I removed the edrive
and it worked fine.
