Hi,

I'm trying to run Boot Camp that came with my recently installed Catalina on my '17 MBP 13".

2 days ago I had Movaje running from a fresh installation working perfectly for the last 1.5 weeks, no boot camp. I've downloaded Catalina from System Preferences update which installed and boots successfully, or so I think it did as I'm not fully certain.

Based on that, I've used my Apple USB-C adapter to transfer over Win10 Pro 64-bit 1903 ISO that I previously downloaded on a former 2011 Mac mini. Launching Boot Camp Assistant from Applications > Utilities within Catalina loads without issue, even auto recognizes my Win10 ISO and I've set 100GB/406GB available on my system for this. During the download for Windows Support from Apple during this process ... there is no progress bar, no update after hours. WiFi still works for iPhone, Watch, ATV So not sure what is going on.

My volume is APFS (Encrypted). Disk Utility shows 2 listings for 'Macintosh HD' 1 being the system the other being data, something on previous OSX installation I've never seen, even with Show All Devices enabled both are nested at the same level.

Anything I'm doing wrong for this installation to work? Why is Catalina stating there is 1 update remaining yet when checked there is not any update available (even in App Store)?

Please close.

Figured this out: Boot Camp doesn't complete unless you're using an Admin account - which I wasn't using, yet it also does not prompt for the admin account credentials to begin - just the current user (which I was set as standard). Admin credentials and logon was successful.
