Boot Camp On External Hard Drive That Has Snow Leopard On It

Hey guys, As of now I have Mac Os Snow Leopard on my 320GB Firewire 800 External Hard Drive. So I was wondering if I could run the Boot Camp installer on the Mac OS in the External Hard Drive and partition it for Boot Camp and run windows from it. Is this possible? Thanks any responses are greatly appreciated :)
