Hey there,

I installed the 2 OS on my Macbook pro, but allowed more space to windows as I will be doing a lot of 3D on it.
the thing is My Mac is running low on HD and as I see my "untitled" windows disc, I was wondering if it is still posible to save on a part of this Window XP drive.
I know that windows does not allow to see the MAC partition, but as the MAc allow to see XP, I am wondering why the folders seems to be frozen.

can you help me with this ?

You formatted the Windows partition in NTFS. Microsoft does not allow access to NTFS partitions for writing without paying royalities, so you can see this drive, but cannot write to it. You either need to reformat it to FAT32 or search for some NTFS utilities for OS X.

but I think that FAT format allows only 32 GB partition, the NTFS is illimited, this is the reason why I prefered NTFS ...
do you have some recommandations for the NTFS Utilities ?

cheers

FAT16 had a limit of 2GB, FAT32 is 2TB (although some systems formating software is crippled to various other maximum values).
