As you may know, Boot Camp Assistant can create a Windows
partition for you. It will be the third partition on the disk. The
two before that are the OS X partition and the hidden 100MB EFI
partition.
If you run HD Tach you will see that reading and writing speeds
are not consistent across a disk. Here's a graph I found:

So here is my question: does the physical position of that third
partition result in worse disk performance under Windows? I.e.,
compared to OS X running from the other partition on the disk.
