My mom got an iMac today and she wants to watch movies via Netflix but they say you have to install bootcamp because something about Apple's DRM stuff.

Well, I installed it and i'm wondering to make it a bit simpler for her if there is anyway to run XP in a Window instead of having to boot into it whenever she wants to use Windows? Thank you

If I have already installed Windows is it still possible to use these programs? Or would I need to uninstall?

Both VMware and Parallels can use your bootcamp partition to boot from.

I am not sure how to do it on VMware, but on parallels, create a new OS and choose "From Bootcamp."

It is that easy.

Then your mom will just have to start Parallels or VM Ware and use windows as normal. It will just be contained inside a window running on top of OSX.

Those applications do not care if you have set up BootCamp or not, but I don't know about Windows XP activation code and if it will give you issues.
