Hi All,

I'm looking at getting my first mac in about 4 years (XP has finally pissed me off enough for that). I am interested in retaining some of the benefits of windows though (such as not needing to purchase new CD's for all my games).

My question is whether the stated game requirements will be completely satisfied by the system they are installed on.
As that does not make complete sense, i'll use an example:
Say I purchase a Alluminium Macbook 2.4 GHz, 256Mb GPU, 4 gig ram. I wish to use book camp to play a game which has requirements of 2 gig ram, 128mb of graphics and x disc space.
Will this mac perform in an identical manner to a regular computer with identical specs? i.e. is the only difference going to be the case of the computer (in essence).

Thanks!

Yes in Boot Camp your machine will run just as if you had a Windows machine with the same specs (unless you're running XP then it will only use 3GB of RAM instead of 4GB but that's due to the OS)
