Sharing some slightly odd behaviour I’ve seen this morning. I was using boot camp assistant to set up windows on my new MBP and it kept failing, right at the point of starting windows set up. Would do everything correctly mac side, display the windows logo, then turn off.
I was doing all this while still connected to my external monitor (though with no other devices connected). After 4 failures at exactly the same point I pulled the monitor cable and switched to the power brick instead. Worked straight away. Not sure why, but one to consider for anybody else experiencing similar problems.
