I have a Mid 2009 MBP and i installed XP home through boot camp (Snow Leopard) a few months back to play some old games. Once i upgraded to Lion i decided to upgrade to XP Pro, so today with boot camp assistant i deleted the partition to install XP pro...not knowing all that's supported is Win 7. Based on what i've read i'm kinda screwed huh??

IS there a way to bypass this? If i cloned my drive..re-installed SL and make a XP partition..then replaced the SL with my lion back up?

OR

Is there a way to downgrade bootcamp in lion to SL?
