Boot Camp Update 2.1... 45 minutes and counting!

What the hell? I downloaded Boot Camp Update 2.1 through Apple Update and it started to install and now it's stuck for 45 minutes!

Apple ought to stick to Apple and leave Microsoft's stuff alone.

First the bug with Safari and now this. I hope it doesn't trash my partition.

Well, I finally canceled the install --for all the good that did me. I clicked on stop and it just sat their saying it was canceling the install. BS!

So I tried to reboot but it just sat there as well (the shut down screen).

So I started stopping things in the task manager and it eventually shut down.

It just rebooted (THANK GOD!) and I'm going to try it again. Grrr!

I'm a little annoyed that 2.1 isn't standalone but it worked fine after I installed Service Pack 3 first.
