I recently installed Windows 7 on my mid 2010 imac running mavericks 10.9 using boot camp 5.1.2. Everything installed fine and Windows is up and running but I cannot get it to boot into Windows without booting from the install disc. If I let it boot from the boot camp partition I just get a black screen with blinking cursor. This is somewhat frustrating and I haven't read anywhere where someone else has had this problem after a successful install. Any ideas? I've tried disk utility disk repair as well as the Windows disc repair without any luck. Both find no problems.

Unplug any extra USB devices for now besides job and mouse

Still not working, anyone been able to solve this problem?

Still having to boot from the install DVD. Anymore suggestions or has anyone actually had and solved this problem?
