boot camp windows and crashed boot sector

the topic says it all,
let's say i have boot camp installed in my mac and while i m running windows a virus destroys my boot sector.

Which boot sector is destroyed? The windows partition one or the one of the physical hard disk, thus destroying my mac os installation as well.
