Alright, im trying install ubuntu on my mac as dual-boot. I had an older version of ubuntu already installed as dual boot and i used bootcamp and it worked pretty well, was even nice and easy. I messed my install of ubuntu up somehow. So after trying to just re-install ubuntu on the same partition my mac somehow stopped recognizing that partition, so i couldnt boot into it.

So after trying a few things i decided easiest thing would be to return my HDD, back to 1 OS X partition and start over fresh, using boot camp to dual boot all over again... Make sense?? Yeah and it should be simple enough.

First i was having some troubles getting Disk Utility, to cooperate, so I burned a Gparted disk and booted into that and this worked good.
(those wondering this is Gparted http://gparted.sourceforge.net/index.php)

So i got all the other partitions gone, and got disk utility to let me re-size my OS X partition to take the full HDD. So im sure its safe to say i returned my HDD back to before i ever used bootcamp and dual booted in the first place. So next step was to use bootcamp and start over fresh.

Well bootcamp doesnt seem to like that idea...

That pretty much sums it up. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Yes I have tried reparing permissions and I'm gonna try repairing disk once i finish posting this.
