I just swapped out my 750GB boot drive (Mac Pro, 1st gen) for a WD Caviar Black 2TB drive. I chose that drive because I've had good luck with WD drives in the past. I copied my existing boot drive over using Carbon Copy Cloner and all seemed to be working well. However...

Whenever I delete something from the boot drive, I get the following alert:

Are you sure you want to delete "FILE NAME"? This item will be deleted immediately. You can't undo this action.

In other words, the file never goes to the trash. It's just instantly wiped. The only time I've seen that dialog in the past is when I deleted something off of a drive on the network, not my local machine and certainly not the boot drive...

Any ideas would be most gratefully appreciated! :)
