Hi everyone,
I apologize if this is a stupid question, but I searched and can't find the answer anywhere. I have a portable bootable external hard drive (Rocstor) that only has firewire 400. My new Macbook Pro obviously only has FW800. I know that I can connect the two for data transfer using an adapter, but my question is can I BOOT from a FW400 drive to a FW800 laptop with the adapter?
Thanks!
