Hi all..
After the first half of installation of Mavericks (installed via cold boot/usb), the Mac reboots to continue install, yet i must first boot from install media to resume..
Why doesn't it continue from SSD ? It's only SSD, as when installing from the same USB flash to spinning hard drive., it resumes just fine.
The issue is, when it happens, I get a question mark (as if no boot files are found), yet from my understanding, it installs the boot files during the first half on install. (otherwise it wouldn't boot from local storage regardless)
In any case, after it resumes installing from USB, the SSD boots up fine into Welcome screen..
So the question, why aren't boot files copied during first phase, and why does it only happen to SSD's ?
I've tried others SSD's, and the same result..
Maybe the installer doesn't handle SSD boot properly ? *shugs* cos when creating USB, (either via DiskMaker X, sudo command etc..) its using legit files.. so it must be an Apple issue.
Any suggestions?
