Hi everyone, I hope you can help me solve this annoying issue.
I have a MacBook Pro with a Boot Camp partition (running Windows) and I recently installed macOS Sequoia using OpenCore Legacy Patcher (OCLP) version 2.4.0. I started from Monterey, and the installation went smoothly — everything works fine except the boot process.
Here’s what happens:
When I turn on the Mac, I first get the “prohibited” symbol (a circle with a line through it) because it can’t boot into Sequoia. After a few seconds, it automatically loads Windows from the Boot Camp partition.
To boot into macOS, I have to hold Option at startup. That shows me two choices:
  • Macintosh HD
  • Windows (oddly, this one has the OCLP icon)
If I select Macintosh HD, I get the same “prohibited” symbol again. But if I select Windows with the OCLP icon, I get another menu where I can choose between Sequoia and Windows. Selecting Sequoia boots macOS successfully.
So, right now, I need to go through this extra menu to start Sequoia.
I read somewhere that to fix this, I should remove the Boot Camp partition, reinstall OCLP, and then recreate the Windows installation — but I’d really like to avoid going through all that if possible.
Do you have any suggestions or alternatives?
I’m happy to provide disk layout screenshots or any other info you might need to help me troubleshoot this issue.

Thanks in advance for your help!
