Hi everyone,

I have a Mac mini (late 2014) running the latest version of macOS and I have boot issues. Specifically almost every time I boot the machine, it shows a black screen and nothing happens. I have to press the power button in order to make it reboot. Sometimes it works and I can login to my account, but other times it loads Recovery or the lock screen but the keyboard and mouse do not work (either way I have to reboot).

Recently I upgraded my SSD drive and did a clean install of macOS hoping it would fix my issues but it didn't work. Resetting NVRAM seems to fix the issue, but it's just temporary. What can I do?

Do you have filevault enabled? This happens to me with every restart, and i have to manually unlock the disk before it can boot properly. Especially annoying during updates.
