Hi,

I'm trying out the boot key combinations

  • cmd opt p r - erase pram
  • cmd opt o f - boot into open formware
  • cmd opt n v - erase nvram
  • cmd v - boot in verbose mode

unfortunately none of them work on my MacBookPro5,1 running Mac OS X 10.5.8 (9L31a).

I turn on the Mac, pressing immediately the combination and hold them until the login screen appears.

For example using the "cmd opt p r" combination i never here a second chime indicating the pram reset is done.

What do i wrong?
