U guys might have to be patience with me i have always been a pc user, and i recently got a mac to experinece something diffrent. So far i love this thing.... back to the issue. I used bootcamp to dualboot into windows vista 64bit (i have a MacBook Pro 17" unibody) for games only, since macs do not have a good selection of games, (huge gamer). When i hold the option key and the two hdd appear i choose the windows one, but i have it defaulted to OSX. What the main issue is that when it loads up to vista, it boots trying to access the cd rom drive, and when it doesnt find anyhing then it boots up into vista, but it takes forever for me to switch os's because it looks for the cd. Is there a way to direct it strait to the partion i made with bootcamp or will it always aim towards the cd first. I can boot into vista fine.... but it takes a long time due to it directed towards the cd dive. Thanks

You might have a Problem

You said you have a MacBook Pro , What is your proccesor ,
If you have an Intel Core Series processor your in trouble.
Windows Vista 64-Bit requires a 64-bit processor, Intel Core
2 Duo/Solo is 32-bit. :( Try Windows Vista/XP 32-Bit Edition
(Standard) I use Boot Camp With Windows XP Professional \
for games :D It works perfect , even faster than my old PC.

I have a :
Macbook Pro 15"
4 GB RAM
500 GB HDD
Intel Core 2 Duo Processor
OSX Leaporad 10.5.6
