I have got this weird things happening.

A folder call "Boot OS X" will suddenly appear on my desktop, screenshot as follow:

bootosx.jpg

When double click on it, it does not open.

When I reboot my Mac, it disappears.

Sometimes, I can get a few of those folders on my desktop until I reboot.

Been searching the forum without much information. Anyone can shed some light on this behavior?

I am on Snow Leopard, and this started before I upgrade to Snow Leopard.

did you ever get any solution to this problem? It's just started happening to me, too

Im getting "삔" folders on my HD 1.

And before you say dodgy software:

Two points:
1. I don't have ANY pirated software
2. I only have apple update software installed, so its something apple update related
(Clean installation, no additional software)

Boot OSX Folder

I've got this too. Two of them. Anyone get an answer for this? Can't move them anywhere.

Which version? The Boot OS X partition is where pgp places it's pgpboot.efi (as well as Apple's). Why it's showing up as a volume, I'm not sure. You might want to look on the PGP forums for an answer.
