So I tried using Boot Camp to install Windows XP SP2 and unfortanetly my disk has an error in it so Windows wont work. I removed the Boot Camp drive under the Disk Utility, however I am encountering an error every time I boot my MacBook.
First off let me start by saying when you install a secondary OS you have to hold down the "Option" key when you start your mac. Then you click which OS to use. Well now that Windows is removed it still has me hold down the Option key otherwise it wont boot in Mac. Is there anyway to just get it to boot in mac like it used to so I don't have this error?

have you tried looking in your preferences, start up drive. See if everything's correct.
Have you tried that option in disk utility to check the authorities, or whatever it is in english.

System Preferences -> System -> Start Up -> Choose Macintosh HD or whatever is your OS X partition called and make it your primary OS
