Hi there

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this 'issue', but when I first installed Lion on my Macbook, when it booted it went from the grey boot screen with spinning gear to the login window quite smoothly.

Now, when it boots, it refreshes with a blue screen before the Apple logo reappears and moves to the top of the screen to reveal the login window/users.

Its almost like its refreshing to check if there is an external display attaached--which there isn't.

Any ideas? Is it due to one of the recent firmware/software update? I'm fully up to date atm. 10.7.2 etc.

17" Early 2011 Macbook Pro.
