ppl,
I've got an osx installed in my internal hdd and external hdd. I am in the middle of a 'migration' and now I need to boot from my external hdd to use some of my old drivers. Does anyone know how I can do that? thanks

I believe you have to set that in "Disk Utility." Type in disk utility into spotlight, open it, and you should be able to set it as your boot disk.

excellent, it worked.

just another side question, will apple repair my macbook if i've installed my own memory and hdd in it? its owc memory and WD hdd.

i've got a problem with my airport at the moment. I don't know how they'll fix it for me, but in case they're thinking of giving me a new macbook (hehe), what will happen to my ram and hdd?

Yeah, they should, as long as you havn't broken the warenty seal while putting the new stuff in, and if it isnt a ram or HDD problem, obviously.
