hey. i recently dropped my macbook pro 15.4" 2.4ghz. the frame bent a little and the lcd was shot. apple said it was $1000 to fix(yea.. 1000 for an LCD! it better be 30 inches or more for that price) but anyways. i hooked it up to my monitor and have been using it from there until i get a replacement (seen around internet for around $200). well my problem is that i went to take the macbook apart. just to see how id get the screen out. ended up taking it all apart and removing the keyboard just to see under it and try to bend out the frame a little bit. i obviously removed the lcd so i wudnt have to do so later. well i put everything back together and it won't boot up. i push the power button and i hear the hard drive start up for about 5 seconds and the "lid light" comes on. then the HDD quickly stops with a single sudden click noise n the light turns off on the front. i really have no idea what is wrong with it. i've tried removing and replacing the RAM and i even disasembled to put the screen back in to see if that was the problem but still same results. anyone have similar problem or know of a fix?
