Hi,

I am having a boot up problem with my old imac. It's a ppc running panther.

I did a disk clean up and the next time i tried to power on it won't get past the blue screen. The blue line goes very nearly to the end as far as i can tell but not to the very end, and then the swirl stays for ages and then i get a black screen saying

Darwin/BSD (My-Names-Computer.local) (console)

Login:

I tried typing in a few things but can't get in that way. Whatever i type in the login it goes to a password question but then won't accept any input at all.

I tried putting the panther disk in on start up to re-install everything but it won't do it.

Any help really would be sooooooo appreciated.
