hey all, I've got a bootable linux distro that I'm trying to boot with one of my Virtual PCs. Every time I try i get a boot error that says no keyboard detected.

Any suggestions?

Which distro is it? At which point are you getting the no keyboard error, after it boots into Linux or before it even boots?

Is it possible you are in a manual install mode that didn't load a keyboard module? My experience in this area is limited to SuSE 9.2 in VPC (which seems even slower than XP to me).

This is a Kanotix(?) distro called Auditor, with network security tools pre-loaded.

the error comes at the very beginning of the boot sequence. it's the first thing that posts.
