After setting up Windows 10 partition on my Late 2016 15" mbp I've run into a problem where the MacBook wouldn't connect to the 5ghz band, it did however connect with 2.4ghz and reached full speed of ~52Mbps. However after disabling Windows Defender, and disabling then re-enabling Wireless network adapter I was able to connect to 5ghz band as well, however the speeds reach 24mbps max which would be equivalent to 802.11g as opposed to 100mbps+(802.11n) which is being reached in MacOS Sierra. When I attempted to inspect the driver settings (Bootcamp Broadcom WiFi driver downloaded today) the only available "prefered bands" available were None, 802.11a, 802.11g/b. But there was no option for 802.11n which makes me believe that Apple just decided to either use outdated driver or removed support for 5ghz speeds. Does anyone have any experiences with this? Or perhaps alternative 802.11n enabled drivers?
