Is it possible to use bootcamp to install Windows 7 on an external USB 3.0 drive? I bought a USAP enclosure recommended here (works great on the mac mini) and would like to put windows 7 on a different drive and boot windows 7 from bootcamp. I have a 15 Retina with the 650m card.

THanks!
Bob

Windows 8 Enterprise only. Windows 7 does not support boot from USB. Thunderbolt hard drives might work, as it is on the PCIe bus just like the internal SSD.

Well I tried to install directly from the DVD and it says windows 8 cannot be installed on an external drive. Can you point me to some tutorials on how to accomplish this?

Thanks!
