Bootcamp and external Yosemite, any problems?

In the moment I have an Efi Win 8.1 installed on the internal SSD of my iMac and want to install Yosemite Public Beta on an external harddisk. This should be in theory no big problem at all. But I fear, it can kill to boot my Win partion after that or changes somewhat in Efi.

has anyone done such an install in pratice and tell about the hints? Thx!
 
Yes, I did it ;-)

and had so far no problem to upadate my FW800 SSD from Mav to Yosemite, and most importantly for me, my internal Win 8.1 booted fine after that ;-)!
