OK, I know it's not possible to boot Windows from an external drive due to Bootcamp limitations. (i.e. bootcamp can't work on external drives).
I came up with the following idea, and wanted to ask you guys if you think it's worth a try or if it'll fail no matter what.
1. Open up a MBP and swap default hard drive with any other of your choice.
2. Install OSX on it.
3. Use Bootcamp to partition it for Windows and install windows.
4. Open up MBP again, take drive out, put it into a case.
5. Plug to another Mac, press option key during boot and choose Windows partition.
Should this work? I'd say yes, I'm just worried about drivers not being compatible between different mac models.
Thanks!
